Three times in the last week the concept of intuition came smacked me in the face… I’m listening and going on my hunch that this information might be helpful for you too.
This video will be particularly helpful if you are feeling overwhelm, have too much on your plate, don’t know which way to turn, and want to figure out how to differentiate between worrying and your intuition calling your name.
What a boudoir photo shoot, hulk, and your intuition have to do with each other? Click play to find out!
Yeah, yeah… I share practical tips like how to workout your intuition muscle and use it to your advantage too. CEOs who are tuned into their intuition get the edge.
Don’t miss out – you have everything you need to get ahead.
So what do you think? I trusted my gut and got goosebumps over how on it was this past week. I’m practicing the two techniques I learned in Thinkertoys and am going to use my intuition more to make faster + better business decisions going forward. As a refresh, the two techniques are:
Intuition Workout
When you are getting ready to answer the phone, going into a meeting, etc. give your intuition a workout by quizzing yourself on things you don’t know about where you are headed (e.g., the phone call will just be a simple reminder about my dentist appointment tomorrow or only two people will make it to the meeting and they will both be wearing black).
Flex baby!
Brain Writing
Faced with a problem you don’t have the answer too? Don’t work so hard to answer it. Instead write down all of the questions you have about the problem (e.g., should I do it, why not, what if….).
Don’t write or pre-determine the answers to these questions.
Feel your way!
Share + Tell Me….
What do you think about flexing your intuition muscle?
Think you’ll get some benefit out of this?
Tell me more!!!
And if you have a hunch you should share this post… Follow your gut!
I’d love it and I love to hear from you.

Amber, I loved this video! I recently have been trying to get more open to my intuition and these are great ideas. For me, I haven’t gotten such clear validation as you have, but I’ll keep working on it! Mostly I just impress people with how I always get a great parking space
)
Haha – a great parking space is a definite advantage to being in tuned with your intuition!! Work it girl!
xo
Ohh…what a great exercise! I am going to try it out over the next couple of days. And also try to remember that when we are faced with a ‘challenge’, often the answer is already inside of us, we just need to trust it. Thanks!!
Yes – the answer is there and, as Kerrie said, if we slow down a bit it will find us!
How’s it working for you? The exercises are working great for me.
Amber! I loved the video
So fun! Such an important message and reminder. Trusting our intuition is so spot on. Sometimes we take the plunge cuz it feels right and well it works out crazy well. I flexed my intuition recently when I designed + launched http://www.thebadassflock.com – my intuition said DO IT create your big big program and its been amazing
By the way, Ashley Taylor, the bad ass flock website is totally hot!!!! Keep flexing it, baby!
Oh, Amber! I loved the brain writing exercise! I’m going to try that. Fun story about your photo shoot too =) I think intuition is a huge part of what separates great photographers from meh photographers. And you my dear, are obviously one of the greats! xx
Ashley my love, you are a doll. I’m so glad you like the brain writing exercise too. I’m using it myself this week and am totally digging it!
Hey Amber — great post on how to access your intuition. I first learned some of these techniques a few years ago when I took class on meditation from my friend Christina Ambubuyog of http://iloveintuition.com/ If you want more info, I highly recommend you check her out!
With these tools at my ready, it’s been a real JOY to stop over analyzing and feel more into my inherent wisdom, the still small voice that is always there, once you slow down and listen.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information!
Slow down and listen — words of gold.
What a great video. I know that when I use my intuition that’s when I make my best business and life decisions. You an really just tell sometimes when something is the right or wrong choice to make. Thanks for the great exersizes as well!
Kat! Glad your intuition is working for you — I was so shocked mine was coming back to me. Goosebumps shocked. I’m in baby mode (15 month old) and don’t sleep much so I’m so out of touch with it. Not any more though!
Great video Amber! Love your energy. My intuition is so strong when it comes to reading other people. For myself and my decisions, my mind is always getting in the way!
I’m gonna try and flex my intuition muscles for my own personal decisions more!
Great video and I love these two exercises. I know I will use the brain writing one tonight…I have a number of things that I need to decide direction on and this will be a perfect way to get that clarity and guidance.
Amber, I love your exercises! I’ve learned the hard way when I don’t follow my intuition things don’t go as good. When I follow my intuition, that inner voice (which sometimes is very loud) is when I make THE best decisions in business & life. So I decided a while ago to always listen and listen carefully to my inner voice it knows what is best – always! Oh and I can SO relate to the no sleeping part, got a 17 month old bundle of joy of my own and he doesn’t like to sleep much.
How much FUN are YOU! LOVE this post… and your presence on this video. BeautiFULL! You are so exquisite in your joy! playfullness! and… yes, your deep intuitive wisdom.
Yes… I play with my intuition a LOT… yet more through my embodied arts… movement, painting, writing. I am going to play with some of your exercises and seeeee where they take me!
Your video ROCKS!! Nice work Amber!
Well, you know it already – but I love your videos & this blog! And this video ain’t no exception… I love your bubbly spirit, girl! keep rockin!
